This Cancellation and Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and recurring subscription changes are handled.

Recurring Subscription Service
 

Bug Buddy’s recurring service plans are route-based and weather-dependent. Customers are purchasing recurring property service, not a guaranteed exact appointment time.
 

Service timing may change due to weather, route efficiency, safety, property access, and product application conditions.


Cancellation Notice

Customers may cancel or request changes to their service with at least 24 hours’ notice before a scheduled or expected service window.

If proper notice is provided, Bug Buddy may cancel or reschedule the upcoming service according to availability and the customer’s subscription status.


Same-Day Cancellations

Same-day cancellations may not be eligible for a full refund if:

  • Bug Buddy has already prepared or mixed service materials

  • A technician is already en route

  • A technician has arrived on site

  • The service has already started

  • The property was inaccessible due to missing or inaccurate customer information


Bug Buddy may make exceptions at its discretion.


Refunds Before Service Preparation

Customers may be eligible for a refund if they cancel before service materials are prepared and before Bug Buddy has begun work related to the scheduled visit.
 

Refund eligibility depends on timing, subscription status, and whether service preparation has already started.
 

Refunds After Service Begins

Once service has begun, materials have been prepared, or a technician has arrived or is en route, refunds may be limited or unavailable.

Bug Buddy may review refund requests case by case.
 

Subscription Cancellation

Customers may cancel their recurring subscription through their customer account if available, or by contacting Bug Buddy directly.

Cancellation prevents future recurring charges but does not automatically refund:

  • Completed services

  • Services already prepared

  • Services already attempted

  • Services already in progress

  • Past subscription charges


Failed Payments

If a recurring payment fails, Bug Buddy may pause, delay, or cancel service until payment is updated.

Bug Buddy may send failed payment notices through the website, email, or other available communication methods.
 

Weather Delays

Bug Buddy may delay, reschedule, or adjust service timing due to weather conditions or application suitability.

Weather-related delays do not automatically qualify for a refund. Bug Buddy will make reasonable efforts to complete service when conditions allow.
 

Property Access Issues

If Bug Buddy cannot access the property because of a locked gate, missing gate code, pets, unsafe conditions, or incorrect information provided by the customer, the visit may be delayed, rescheduled, or considered attempted.
 

Refunds for property access issues are handled at Bug Buddy’s discretion.
 

Customer Requests and Special Circumstances

Bug Buddy understands that unexpected situations happen. Customers are encouraged to contact Bug Buddy as soon as possible if they need to cancel, pause, reschedule, or discuss a billing issue.
 

Bug Buddy may make exceptions to this policy at its discretion, but any exception does not change the policy for future service.
